Who is responsible for your data

hitak.io is published by Studio Bidibou, the controller of data collected on this site. Its registered office is located at Maison des Entreprises – Chéray, ZAE Les Quatre Moulins, 17190 Saint-Georges-d’Oléron.

What we collect

On hitak.io, personal data is collected only if you subscribe to the launch newsletter:

• your email address;
• the version of the consent text you accepted;
• the page language (fr-FR, en-GB or es-ES);
• where applicable, campaign parameters in the page address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content).

The form does not request a name, company or phone number.

Why we use it

To send hitak news by email, including the launch announcement. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through an unchecked checkbox.

Immediate subscription

Your subscription is saved when you submit the form, without a confirmation email. Anti-spam verification takes place before any registration.

If you have unsubscribed, a new request does not override your objection.

How long we retain it

Subscription data is retained until you withdraw consent and, at the latest, for three years from collection or your last contact with us.

After unsubscribing, information strictly necessary to respect your objection may be retained for three years. It is then used for no other purpose.

Who has access

Brevo manages the mailing list, email delivery and unsubscribing. hitak does not retain any subscriber list outside Brevo.

Cloudflare Turnstile performs the form’s anti-spam verification using technical data transmitted by your browser.

OVHcloud hosts the site and the gateway forwarding your subscription to Brevo in France.

Where data is processed

Brevo states that it hosts its main data in France and Germany. OVHcloud hosts the site server in France. Cloudflare is established in the United States and may process data outside the European Economic Area for anti-spam verification.

Cloudflare’s data processing agreement provides for the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for the transfers concerned.

Unsubscribe

Every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also write to contact@hitak.io.

Cookies and audience measurement

The hitak.io marketing site uses no audience measurement tool and sets no advertising cookies. Fonts are served from the site itself.

The Cloudflare Turnstile verification script loads with the subscription form.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to processing of your data, as well as a right to portability. You can withdraw consent at any time.
